But before I do, here's a little about myself..

I started out selling greeting cards that I signed up for from Boys Life Magazine, when I was 13 years old in my small home town of Lindsborg , Kansas population 5000 people at last count. That's where I learned that you have to have some kind of a connection with with people so they feel they can trust you and will do business with you.

I remember going door to door knocking on doors that hot Kansas summer. No , not interested , come back Friday I don't get paid till next week. Then one evening I was headed to my weekly Boy Scout meeting and I decided I would take my greeting cards with me and try a few doors on the way there. Right away things started to change, all the sudden I was selling boxes of cards right and left . One man asked me,"are you working on your salesman merit badge"? yes sir I am on the way to our weekly meeting right now.

A couple years latter I started working for my Dad in his auto repair and body shop. Starting out sweeping floors and cleaning parts and with in a couple years was able to rebuild engines , starters , alternators etc. and was only a Freshman in high school.

August 1974 I joined the Marine Corp and after completing my tour of duty returned to Lindsborg and meet my wife of 18 years and started raising a family. On August 15,1982 my first child Anthony was born and my daughter Ginny was born April 2, 1986 .

My dad had sold the auto repair business in 1975 and was marketing information for the Automotive Industry published by the Hearst Corporation, based in New York at the time. After I returned to school and took classes on Advertising and Marketing I joined him is 1985.

In 1987 Motor Publications a Division of the Hearst Corporation released there information to software developers to develop a electronic version of their hardbound information that my dad handled . I contacted one of the companies named Digitree , out of Boulder Colorado and secured the Kansas territory.

Digitree was the first company to create a database for the crash information so Automotive Body Shops could write electronic estimates and the data would flow from the estimate be converted to a repair order when they got the job and create parts list and labor sheets to create complete job costing reports and flow to the balance sheet and income statement. I provided technical support and training also.

During this time I purchased the recorded version of Zig Ziglar's, Sell Your Way To The Top on cassette tape. This was the information I was looking for I played it on the way to every sales call. It increased my confidence and gave me real strategies that worked. I haven't been the same person since.

In 1988 Digitree was purchased by Mitchell International , the number 1 competitor of Motor Publications. The end of 1989 I was asked to move to the Dallas Ft Worth area and helped open that sales territory and sold systems to some of the largest Automotive Body Repair facilities in the United States, Swell Village Cadillac, Roger Myer Cadillac, Concours Paint & Body , Buddy's Paint & Body and many more. Mitchell Management Systems was the first to deliver the data on CDROM and also offered a portable credit card size wand so the Estimator could collect the data any where using bar code technology and come back to the office and place the wand in a holder and press one button and the estimate would be entered into the computer program and be instantly printed out for the customer.

At the end of 1990 I moved back to my home town of Lindsborg, Kansas and continued to offer Business Management Systems to the Auto Repair Industry and Retailed computers and technical service in the area and opened a Antique Mall in a old hardware store on main Street where I rented space to other Antique Dealer.

In 1995 I started hearing something about a thing called the Internet and shortly after that my brother Sam got a job as the Internet supervisor in Salina a town of about 50,000 people just north of Lindsborg about 20 miles. At that time it was real simple basic just one page advertisements.

It wasn't till 1997 I started trying to build a website I got a merchant account for $2700. and they threw in a shopping cart with the deal and I thought I was Rocking and Rolling I had books I offering How To books on just about everything and I remember thinking . It won't be long now and I'll be rolling in the money. WRONG!!!! I checked my counter everyday and the only visitors to my site seemed to be me. What a disappointment. I was surfing the web one evening trying to find the answer and signing up for every free ebook I could find.

In April 2004 I was offered a supervisor position with C&C Market Research they were opening a office in the Salina Central Mall. One day I received a call from a man named Randy Martin from Texas. This was the first time I had actually talked to someone who was successful on the internet and making money. I remember telling him if he could do it I could. I got home that day and looked the site up and it was cool they were offering Instant video where you could see and talk to people right over the internet , I couldn't believe it this is what I want to do I told myself and in a couple weeks I purchased there Silver Package for $89. a month they had just started what they called the Millionaire Bootcamp. All I needed was a little direction and I was off and running. I was making over 50 phone calls a day and maybe getting 3-4 answers and making enough sales to become one of the top producers and co- hosting a weekly webcast with Randy and was being asked to be a guest at other members webcasts. The company had everything you needed to be successful the one catch was you couldn't load your own leads into the system you had to purchase the leads from the company , $275. for 1500 leads , some months I barely made enough to purchase leads and pay my monthly fee for my website and tools. I kept thinking it's going to break loose any day. WRONG AGAIN!!

On April 20,2009, I saw Mike Dillard's capture page for Magnetic Sponsoring and was very skeptical at first because of the low price point, I had ordered other programs that were more money and weren't complete or just plain didn't work. All I did was follow the simple strategies out lined in the course and I have generated 100's of leads and $375. in commissions in a few short weeks, that are paid every two weeks that I use to promote my business opportunity.
